レイテ州タクロバン市長であるALFRED S. ROMUALDEZとイメルダ・マルコス（Imelda Romualdez Marcos）下院議員の旧姓は同じで従姉弟とのこと、タクロバン空港の名は元下院議長から取っており、イメルダ・マルコスの伯父であるDaniel Z. Romualdezの名が冠せられDaniel Z. Romualdez Airportという。
